A Wonderful Anniversary

Just last week, we celebrated our 4 years married together. Jeremy planned a special (surprise) day on Saturday...we hiked with the dogs along Panther Creek first thing in the morning with the idea to tire them out to keep them out of trouble while we were away overnight. Back at home I was told to pack and overnight bag, with a swimsuit, gym clothes and a dress...Hmmm, wonder what he has in mind...we then drove the scenic route to the nearby Chateau Elan Winery and Luxury Resort. I tried to hide my ear-to-ear grin when I realized where we were headed, but even after we checked in there were more surprises...a luxurious hotel room, a couples massage, unlimited access to the spa amenities, a bottle of wine delivered to our room and a fancy gourmet dinner. What a surprise and an enjoyable day together!

We spent Mother's Day pool side with the Frydrychs the following day, so quite a relaxing weekend. It's a good thing too because our upcoming weekends are filling up quickly with summer BBQs, out of town company and neighborhood events.
